Reviving a Dead Man's Chest!

I know it! This has always been a trend in my blog....Being dead and returning back to active one is no new drill to my blog! So here is my second wave of giving 'life' to something which you guys thought has been gone long by!

Looking back at my previous post, i realised that it has been over a YEAR since I last updated it! Can you believe!???? OVER A YEAR!! Alot of things has happened over the period of 365 days and mostly were good memories locked up in my memory bank for a long long time to come! But just to do some justice to others, Here is a little highlight on what happened, happening and going to happen in my life!:

First up, I finished my poly days a graduate! It felt more like a coronation after 3 years of fun, joy, excitement! Tertiary education life was never like what I expected it to be! Thanks to good friends and buddies made over these period! Graduation ceremony is on MONDAY! woo hooo! Looking forward to it! It was really a pleasant surprise to know that my school (RP) invited my secondary school form teacher to witness my graduation ceremony! OMG! It has been such a loooong time since I ever remembered about my secondary school days, and this is gonna be a rude awakening truly!!

Next up, work.... For all those who are wondering what I'm working as... Im actually continuing at the very place I was attached to during my internship period! At CAAS (Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore) based at the AIRPORT!! yipeee.. Okay.. for those who are not very aviation inclined. CAAS is the regulatory body for our aviation.. My work involves with Aviation Regulations and Personnel Licensing! Exciting as it is, Time also flies past as a breeze working at the airport!

Lastly! This is what I'm gearing up for all these days! A once in a lifetime opportunity to go serve my nation for 2 years in the Army! Yeap! Enlistment for my National Service is official! Its on the 10th June, at the Island paradise named Pulau Tekong! I did signed up for Airforce as a pilot and I'm done with all the stages - Aptitude Tests, Interview and Medical check up! Last hurdle, getting selected for OCS during my BMT! Oh god! So working towards it.. and still working!

I think thats about it for now , the main juicy things happening in my life for now! And yesss... I also misss my girlfriend alot.. yeaah... may sound like ANY typical boyfriend but seriously, I never have thought the feeling would be this overwhelming... and NS will be the ultimate test I put in my relationship! hahaha....

It was such a day for my mummy yesterday when she surpassed her 'ahem' senior citizen age! LOL... but then again.. as fillial kids.. we did the usual routine.. bought cake feed each other.. cards and surprises.. Hugs and Kisses! WOOOTS!

Ladies and Gentlemen..

Well.. its time to pack my bag and leave school.. as i was walking out of the very school compounds.. i had this nostalgic feeling as i walk out ending my title as a Year 2 student and soon ready to picking up the much coveted 'Final Year Student' lingo! WOO HOO!!

It was kind of mixed feeling crossed between, satisfaction and regret.. well.. whatever happen.. it happens

Reminds me of a quote:

Why i find this quote applicable here? Well.. as time flies.. We sometimes forget our past..

Its like taking a walk by the shore on a beach.. With every silent wave that hits.. your footsteps get washed by... Those waves in life is time.. you move on and time erases your past but you've got to sit down and look back the track that got you so long.. because they say that teenage life is the best period in your lifetime... im living it now.. and it will soon be gone.. so i dun wanna miss it or waste it.. To me; ive learnt so far because of experience.. yes.. it was not kind to me.. but the thing is at the end of the day.. i learnt life...

I feel that im fortunate though... actually.. i should say.. im satisfied with my life as it is right now this instance.. i dun wanna be anyone else.. i wanna be me.. i like me.. hahaha.. narcisstic right.. hahaha

School has ended.. Its time i get a dosage on how cruel the working world can be.. im going out to experience the menace of the industry during my attachement at Changi Airport during the holiday.. well.. as i say.. experience is a brutal teacher.. but ill learn!

Greetings to all my fellowship members!

Realized that my blog went into another hibernation mood for awhile.. Time to give a wake up call!

Couple of things happen again!

-Well of course im BACK from my Delhi trip.. Photos are still in editing process.. ill do a seperate update on the trip!

-IEp interview was over.. got into Changi Airport Group

-School is over.. But final round of UTs requires every last ounce of pounding energy!!

Op sucked as ever! I was soo irritated that i skipped school the last day after the pizza treat by my avionics Faci..

Uts... Well.. D&T was on saturday.. a pretty easy paper.. 1 down.. 3 more to go!

After that was off for Airshow with Sasi.. It was soo nice to spend time with her all the while.. it really gets me away from all those shit school feeling and it feels like nevada!! It was really kind of her to help me get the tix while i was away! Love you dearest!

Well.. we met up at wdls interchage right after UT to take our loong bus ride to changi.. Simon was a jackass and got scolded by a 'member of public' senior citizen somemore! HAIYOO!!!!

The order and crowd control for airshow was really impressive with not much gridlocks or bottlenecks occuring!
But the airshow itself was quite a disappointment.. maybe because i went it with high expectation..

The exhibition introduced new aviation companies but apparently the industry giants like Airbus and Boeing kept a low profile with small booths..

The static display was more of a USAF and eurpean business jet display then RSAF or Singapore commercial aviation.. but it was still a good treat..

The flying display was also a slight disappointment with only F-16, Ah-6, A-10 and M346 demonstrations.. maybe the morning one was good.. we missed it..

But overall it was still a good show.. Expect it to be better in 2012.. The weather was a real killer.. poor sasi got tanned.. but man.. you handle camera well!

After that back to the airport to see her classmates.. and we had some goodsome dinner and off we went home!

"E"- ENOUGH fuel in tank...
"F"- FINISH already the fuel in tank!!

Greeetings felas!

2010 has arrived at our doorstep, (finally) and whether we like it or not we have to invite it inside to our house and usher it with much gratitude.. Well, this shows that time really flies and we dont have much control over the pace at which our lives are winding with it..

I just want to take this moment and reflect back at 2009; i believe that with each growing year, not only have i grown physically and aged but the mental acuity that follows hasevidently grown too... the way i look at things around me nowadays has seemed different from how i perceived them before.. They way i interact with people has also differed.. im more sensitive towards their feelings and emotions and that tends to put me in a different status.. maybe im not RETARDED raj afterall.. maybe just a normal plain old raj??hahaha.. but then again, it used to be my identity, ill just let it stay intact..

Just a run through synopsis of some significant events that happened in 2009:

-Started off with year 2 feeling like its a whole new great challenge -New class, new people, new perspective -Payed more attention to my course and got totally immersed into it. -A nice promotion in NCC. -New opportunities and visits around -some good eye opening experiences in aviation -My family. and definitely, the best thing that happened to me in 2009 was the fonding memory of meeting Sasi,... she just completes me in a way that i really cant describe and write down in words man!.. When everything sets around perfectly in you, the 'love bubble' just has to come in to complete me as a person, and that was exactly what she did in me! You COMPLETE me da! :)

Definitely there was lots of ups and downs, the journey wasnt really a very smooth one, but then again at the end of the day, the grass is greener on the other side! Lots of things to learn and learnt! Was a good year!

Well!!! enough of spilling things that has past, its time to move in to the new decade,... firstly my resolutions for the year:

#1: Wish to be a great soul for my special one, i wanna make US go further and higher #2: I wanna be a fillial son to my parents (sounds typical but HEY!! it takes effort!) #3: To maintain and improve on my GPA. #4: Keep in focus on aviation; to get as much contacts as possible, gain the knowledge #5: Driving licence!!! ( wanna go for those night rides) #6: Try to arrange better things for DCA. #7: Try to excel in FYP and IIP in year 3! #8: Catch Osama Bin Laden.

I went down to Esplanade on the 31st witness the countdown, it was
-crowded
-stuffy
-Irritating
-Pathetic
But then at the end of it all, the clock hit 12, the array of fireworks dissolved all the bad feelings i had when it filled the sky with radiance! AWESOME!!!

I had a HUGE surprise ystd... ok here is the deal: My initial plans on new year was to stay home till evening then meet up with sasi to go temple, then all of a sudden a change in plan totally caught me off guard, she rang me up and told me that her family bought 5 movie tickets and one of it was for ME!.. i was like "WHAT?! TODAY? with your mum?!" but i have to tell you! she was such a fine lady...caring, protective, loving everything that i wanted to be for sasi! it was just great! Next up, a meet with my mum! haha.. weeeeeeeeee!!

The last time we met up for FYP brief.. we decided to meet up on this very faithful day for
-bowling. -pooling -dining!

and YES!! We did all three.. I met up with SYED...then went to meet up with AI MING and PAMELA who were shopping at northpoint.. then we went to yishun safra to meet SIMON who was already waiting for us at the alley!..

we played two games of bowling.. and at that instance i signed up for the NEBO memebership.. its $20 for 3year.. but the benefits and privellages are WOW!! I strongly urge all teens to sign up. reallyyyy goood deal.. go check out more abt it..

After that.. you know.. being a gorilla that i am! i was supeerrrr hungry.. so we went dinner FIRST then we went to play pool before going home!

Overall fun rating for the day

Well ladies & Gentlemen..

The year has come to an end.. Christmas has just passed.. Hope you guys sticked close to the resolution that you took in the beginning of the year..

Its time to let loose and treat yourselves for a well deserved break for doing well for the entire year!

Certainly yesterday it was such a moment of euphoria when the SKSS NCC CLTS all met up for a Xmas Dinner Retreat to celebrate such a well deserved job well done for the unit and for the new Cadet Officer Vincent who has completed his arduos 2 weeks incamp traning to earn his title.. Congratulations!

Venue was Glass House Fish & Co.. its was nice enough to fill my stomach and burn a hole in my wallet.. nevertheless.. as i said.. it was all for a WELL DESERVED break!.. hahaha.. Lots of fun, reflection and catching up to do with those fellas.. who were absolutely great..

Lets hope we can juggle our studies and our unit healthily for the new year as well gentlemen!

Finally... Jetstar agreed to brief us on our FYP details.. so there we go.. making our way back to the airport.. Looking back at my team members even during holidayss..

I was hoping that the briefing would provide us with sufficient knowledge to kick start our projects.. but it turned out to be that it was more detaily explained for all the 3 other team doing on customer service rather than on our team doing on ground handling.. It was sooo ambiguos that it left my team wondering " oookaaayy.... so what are we supposed to do now??" Then came Mr Mohandas Ramanathan S/O Mahatma Gandhi for our rescue! To clear all our BIG question marks on top of our head.. he said that he will brief us seperately on another day! so...at the end of the day.. the briefing was BORING!

But nooooo... when im with my good frens in airport.. nothing comes in our way to mispell

hahaha.. ok finally exams have ended and holidays has begun!!

on the 15th.... Airport trip was fantasticly sucky... maybe probably the only good thing about the trip was the visit inside the transit area. They delayed my pass issue for soooooooo long!! ineffcient aiport police.. damn.. But.. heard from mr mohan that opportunities are in line to work there for part of our attachment.

Then fortunately.. 16 17 18 i didnt go camp!! The official reason i gave was 'fever'.. but the unofficial reason is.... welll... since it is unofficial then let it be! hahaha...

18th!! was exciting! I met Sasi and went to Eurocopter trip..
Eurocopter was not as interesting as i thought it would be.. very technical.. in short it will be grease monkey's place!

BUT!! movie with Reika was AWESOME!! She loooked really great in her leopard print blouse.. very preeetyyy!! We watched A Perfect Getaway.. Movie was a good thriller.. Movie was mooreeee interesting that i'd expect it to be!
After which i went to drop reika at her house and took some 'pictures' too! haha..

Overall.. it was a great day! She is the most romantic.. loveliest girl! I love you!!

Hey fellas!

My apologies for not being to blog for some time.
Things has been catching up too quickly since i last did, school, PP, NCC etc.. Was meddling with all these blog skins and etc.. and finally i could do some changes to it.. not bad eh?!haha

So here's a little insight into what's happenig in my life for now....

CE (Creative Engagement) trip to THALES aerospace company wasnt as creative as i expected it to be.. well what can i expect more, its merely a glorified technical junkie area deep inside Changi Business Park.. but well at least i got to learn some of the new technologies they gonna insert into the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner (which still is a dream till today) and the Airbus 350 XWB(xtra wide body) jets....

After that, the next milestone was my Professional Profilling assessment (once again nothing so professional about it) I did on Singapore Airlines of course.. why?? maybe because SIA is just spelled at the back of my hand! anyways.. the assessment went very well.. and i did PASSED! woo hoo???

Now gearing up for two things... one is my FYP which is ard the corner to begin with.. Team members include, Syed, Baru, Pam and Simon ... wish some terrorist could join in too! oh well! and the next is the SEG camp Illumna thingy which we are in a Student Leaders... its a 3-day camp in schoool!! muahahahaha!! wat a joke! so yeah.. briefing sessions and dry runs etc... bluekk!

and.. awwwww!! SASII!!!! how can i forget that sweetheart!! She has really been a darling for all these while...motivating me and cheering me up all the way... whenever and however possible.. really she is damnn sweeeeet! muackiess.. Thing is her tests are ready at the startline and this gives her with sooo limited time to gear up for it.. the last i met her was more than a week ago.. man.. i miss her tonnes.. but again.. we still do have our priorities right!!? just wishing her all the best in her endeavours... GO GAL!! I LOVE YOU!!

Hey folks!

Time for a lil yahooooolalalaa time! = UPDATES...

Ok.. to summarize the week's experience in one word: Awesomeliciousuperblastfullyfantastic!!

Mum is recovering but very s l o w l y.... kinda making me feel scared too.. but yeah.. keeping my hopes high and praying for her well being!.... and the thing is my sis and I are getting every closer than before.. we talk reall often.. we share things.. its like all of a sudden we are starting to compliment each other for our doings!! weird?

and.and... since ppl are consistently asking about sasi.. i have to say that... she is definitely one of the sweetest souls out there! You know you get this feeling of attachment to a person whom you wish you can confide in whatever you want to and let your heart out to that person?!! well.. YES!.. to me! that would be sasi! the best thing about her: is that she is always there for me! literally always!! being there when i need her.. giving me the encouragement, the lovely little chats that i have with her everyday... makes me just much closer to her than i ever used to be.. THANK YOU SO MUCH in believing me da! LOVE YA TONNES!!

ok.. so the UT fever has already started!! its never gonna stop till the end of semester! its gonna be On and Off.. so far.. 1st UT for Aircraft Instruments and Avionics System has been conquered... next i need to go conquer Operations Planning and Distribution & Transportation UTs.. i tell you.. conquering this two UTs can be much tougher than the Japanese conquering S.E.A! the two killers.. save the worst for the last! haiyooo..

anyway! interesting event today!!!!!! Today had a CE trip to Flight Experience SIngapore at SIngapore Flyer there..

#1: WE had a full circuit leg done in a 737-800 simulator in the flight experience! It was sooo awesome.. got to do touch n gos, NDB Approach, VOR approach and ILS landing! EPIC!!! hahaha
i evnet went ahead to buy my 777 collectible model! WOO HOO!!

#2: In the meantime ( as there was ample time) we went ahead with taking a trip in the flyer! and and it was MY FIRST TIME FLYING IN FLYER! well then again.. i was thinking of sasi while in the flyer...as i was to be going to flyer with her also! man! i cant wait! its gonna be the moment to rmb!! hahaha..

#3: Had some goodsome Popeyes after that to end it off...

Nothing much to blog... seriously.. i really am happy with things the way they are right now...

but one major turnover was mum's vericose vein infection... she required immediate medical attention BUT!! the attention given to her was anything but immediate and effective.. GRRR!! i dun understand how can the government feel soo high abt its medical services.. damn shizzle ma nizzle! but MUM I LOVE YOU!!!! like really really doooo!! ^-^

School is fun.. my class folks are really a crazy bunch of people who are really fun to hang around with.. Playing CS when the slightest chance available... sort of like.... umm... you know... becomes the catalyst for class bonding i guess!! hahaha.. yeah...... i sound pretty rheutorical right.. oh well...its up to you to figure out!

Sasi has been really sweet and awesomelicious! its soo fun to spend moments with her! hehehe... the feeling is just like ooolalala! you know.. its like taking off every single time and see the world below you.. and you feel sooo... "on-top-of-world" kind of feeling! hahaha.. nice nice! love that lil pink braces of her.. cutee...

&&& it was ORGASMIC... seriously.. i go there see ang mohs in bikini... eat this eat that.. sleep here sleep there.. swim here swim there... doo all kinds of ali baba things!

SO here is what happened:

thurs EARRRLy in the morning 6 am i was at golden mile complex to do check- in.. meanwhile we had a quick breakfast.. so it was the 9 of us- ME, Jonah,Tony,Brien, Ashley,Kelvin,Hong Yi, Baru,& CY...
After makan.. we board up the bus to woodlands checkpoint to pass immigration.. and so on for msia immigration.. the lady over at the malaysia immigration keep looking at my passport photo and and me face repeatedly.... she think i taliban going to bomb the country.. ASSHOLE!

Then after tha another looon ride to Mersing ferrry terminal at Tanjong Gemok.. think its a very Gemok(FAT) place thats why.. && the buss driver.. FOOO!! macam drive like Formula 1 racer like that.. given his speed he can cover the entire TPE in 10 mins... my ballls shrunk to the size of marble by the time we reach the terminal..In between had a 20 mins break also..

Then finally we reached the ferry terminal, only to realise that the next ferry was in one hours time.. so to KILL that time, we went for a quick shopping,bought pokka cards start playing then the ferry came and it was another 2 hrs ride in the ferrry cos apparently, Tioman is 32 km away from the mainland.. the trip was uneventful.. and we arrived at our destination at ard 2 PM

The place that we went to was called "PAYA".. i know sounds like macam paya lebar or papaya right.. u know its MALAYSIA!!> oh well.. so we arrived at Paya we went to check in and my room which i shared with baru and CY was F1.. i dunno what is it with F1.. and i did an offfical inaugral opening ceremony of the room and oolalal.. it was PARADISE!! a cosy envt and facing the beachside... shalalaala!

Afterwhich lunch, then went ard the island for exploration and for a quick dip in the sea cos it was too much to resist.. soon enuf it was night time so went back showere changed and off for dinner for seafood.. food was yummy and the at night had party with hard liquor.. chivas and vodka.. CY got so hot his whole body turned red like hell boy and when we went back to room he knocked off in less than 5 mins.. efficient siooooll. and then GOODNIGHT #1...

Followed by GOOD MORNING #1..quickly went for our buffet lunch which was provided for free by the resort.. then we were off for snorkelling.. it was RM 70 per person but it was very very worth it.. from 9 Am to 3PM it really occupied us cos there was still speed boat which brought us to 5 different islands to snrkell and each time i was in the speed boat.. i feel like i in bay watch!! we had alot of shit happening, we saw fishes which were huge,small,cute,ugly,colourful,dull, and lovely CORALS!! shit load of FUN!!

Then came back to resort.. freshen up and off went for dinner again at another place.. had some great dinner than we went for shopping for souveniers since last night there ald.. shopped shopped then it was just nice for supper.. so went by for some satay stick ( only 55 sticks) and 2 stingrays! YUMMY! after which we had a loong chit chat cum pokka card session before one by one went to sleep cos tired of the snrkelling.. also did some packing and GOODNIGHT #2..

the last day.. GOOD MORNING #2.. Again we went for breakfast... afterthat the usual stuff.. pack up check out at 10 am.. but the ferry only came at 12 30 PM so we had another round of shopping and had lunch before returning back to Spore...

PS: throughout the entire trip, there were so much of oogling to do because of soo many Ang mohs in bikini clad.. DAMN!!! it was 'PARADISE'!!

i went marketing this morn (weird? i know. niwaes, moving on). after grabbing my stuff, i went to queue (and natural tendency is to stand behind the last person. right?). suddenly, this arsehole tapped my shoulder and said, or rather insulted me by saying," OI! YOU BLIND AH? CANNOT SEE THAT I'M IN THE QUEUE AH?"
well, actually what he was refering to was the basket which he had placed by the side of the aisle. thank god i was a patient indian. honestly, i felt like kicking his basket away and saying,"now its not in the queue. so, what're you gonna do about it?"
and i swear to god, if he had touched me, i would have muay thaied his head till his eyes got freaking swollen. then i'll ask," now who's blind?" hah.
anyways, i just gave him a glare that even i would've been afraid of. and just walked off to the back of the queue. damn ugly singaporeans. what happened to courtesy?

2nd January 2009-the start of the magical year.....

Apparently, things turns up well in this new year!.. for an instance.. my trip to the city cum movie was splendid! The chronology of events ahead..

8pm-left house met rafi to finalize plans for the nite which waz to get the tickets first at plaza sing for Ong Bak 2 midnite show than do dinner at makansutra at esplanade.

We then realised got Night Rider service to our very doorstep plaza sing..( which means no need to waste money or midnight taxi fare! AWESOME!) kinda disturbed rafi’s sis on de way..

abt9.00-got tickets for ong bak 2...went to esplanade there to eat satay n mee rebus( Best stuff!)...all the while from the time we exit the mrt we were seeing hot chicks!!!

abt9.45-10.00-eat finish walk n happen to come across live band playing retro n 80s 90s music...the band girl waz cute in her own way...saw hindi girl who looked like an actress. MY GOD!! ARGHH!!.

abt10.45-11.00- went to esplanade rooftop...saw new KAMAsutra position of 2 lovers (weirdos) n nice nite skyline... but got chased away by security at 11.pm

abt11.00.walk down elavator at same time. saw more hot girls around esplanade saw another hottest girl alighting from a taxi just in front of us.. my heart stopped..

The day started disappointingly....

Ahmad couldnt get the lorry.. was very worried that the spooky ride would get cancelled..

to add on to that.. only i and alistair were there at 4.30 pm.. i mean WAD DE HELL!!!
dont you guys know that we were having a BBQ and you were supposed to come and help??!!

So it was left with only TWO guys to start of the whole thing..

Obstacle #1: Too many things were delivered.. too little people.
Obstacle #2: Food was delivered at carpark A (far from the pit)
Obstacle #3: Charcoal was of the lousiest brand to even start the fire
>>> 6 plus and still no one turn up! Thought the whole thing is gonna be a disaster!
Obstacle #4: we ran out of charcoals AND firestarters!

Damn.. things were just getting tougher... and to add on to that.. i got my finger cut! DAMN!!!

Im a boring guy with a boring life ahead.. hahaha
looong time no update...
nothing much interesting gg on in ma life right now..

My whole weekends were spent in Changi Airport receiving inputs from my mentor: Captain Saravanan... and a few other pilots.. lots of eye openers... Hope to see things happen in the future..
